As the lights dim, the first strands of "Salvation" blare on an electric guitar. The crowd stands and voices sing "Lord we've heard of Your great fame, Father cause all to shout Your name." Though this might be a typical scene Thursday nights inside Woodburn Hall Room 100, for the hundreds of students who gather, now it is also part of a class.

'King of Torts' another predictable read

·

As an author, John Grisham has had a great run. Almost any book with his name on the cover is guaranteed to reach the New York Times Bestseller List, and they are usually captivating, page turners. However, what works for Grisham has become quite apparent -- a small-time lawyer stumbles into a case beyond his or her scope and that case somehow changes his life. Did I mention nine times out of 10, this lawyer will be from a small town in the deep South?

Breakfast for dinner?

·

Living in the fast lane of college life has its ups and downs. One of these downs is studying all night and oversleeping to find yourself rushing out the door with no breakfast. Although this is something ill-advised by nutritionists, some of us just don't have the time to enjoy a healthy breakfast. Well, it's time to reclaim the lost time and have breakfast for dinner. Instead of running to Denny's or Waffle House, try these easy recipes you can make at home.

Bronzed after break

·

As much as I'm going to miss spring break (and believe me, I am), it's always exciting to come back to IU for my favorite post-break game -- Spot the Fake Tan. It's the same every year. People leave town pale as ghosts or with a slight starter tan obtained from a tanning salon, but they come back looking as though they were shoved into an oven and browned like a batch of dinner rolls. Some of them left the country in search of warmer climate -- some of them are just trying to look like they did.

Mother Nature, may we?

·

As faithful readers know, few institutions are safe from the critical eye of the IDS editorial board: IU administrators, the state entomologist, the federal government, society as a whole -- we've attacked them all. But today, we're taking on a foe so powerful, so ubiquitous, it has never been battled in the media world. We're going to have a little talk with Mother Nature.
