While the Boilermakers are sending down buses of students for the contest at University Gym, the undefeated IU volleyball team might get the fan support they need as well.

Sisters enjoy season together as field hockey teammates

Lena Grote and her younger sister, Mariella, each began their field hockey careers as freshmen at Saint Ursula Academy in Cincinnati. While in high school, the sisters had an opportunity to play together for one year before Lena graduated and moved on to IU.

IU moves Brown Co. Playhouse program

A little more than a year after the Little Nashville Opry concert hall burnt to the ground, the town in southern Indiana is dealing with another disappointing loss. IU has ceased production on the summer theater program in the Brown County Playhouse to move it to on-campus facilities in Bloomington.

Bloomington man faces preliminary charge of incest

Charles S. Hazelbaker, age 53, faces a preliminary charge of incest after allegedly having intercourse with a relative of his since she was 15 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit from BPD Detective Richard Kruzan.
