Two bed bugs have been found in the Herman B Wells Library, IU Spokesman Larry MacIntyre said.
MacIntyre said one of the bugs was found on the library’s fifth floor and a second was found after health and service employees set traps.
The bugs were found in an employee section of the building, he said, and were likely brought in by an employee.
No bugs have been reported in residential halls or other academic buildings.
“It is obvious students should be concerned and keep an eye open,” he said.
There will be an informational meeting, called by the City of Bloomington about bed bug concerns 11 a.m. Monday in the Fountain Square Mall Ballroom, 101 W. Kirkwood Ave.
