During the pitcher’s duel, IU (40-13) had just one big inning to propel them to a 5-0 victory against Michigan (29-28-1) to move on in the Big Ten tournament.

Hoosier bats come alive, beat Gophers 8-0

Big Ten outright winners IU beat Minnesota in the rubber match 8-0. The win gave the Hoosiers the series win against the Gophers. On the year, IU won all eight of its Big Ten series, sweeping five of them.

The slippery conditions caused a combined seven errors between IU (37-13, 20-3) and Minnesota (27-21, 13-10). The Hoosiers won 7-3 thanks to timely throwing errors by the Gophers.

Minnesota's Connor Schaefbauer hit a go ahead RBI double in the 10th inning to give the Gophers (27-20, 13-9) a lead against the Hoosiers (36-13, 19-3).

IU beats Louisville, sweeps season series

In a battle of top 10 teams, No. 9 IU defeated No. 10 Louisville 7-2 after Kyle Schwarber sealed the game in the top of the 9th with a three-run homerun that left his teammates speechless.
