Hoosiers embark on tough road challenge
There are no days off in the Big Ten. Thus far, the Hoosiers have posted a 3-4 Big Ten record, which has included just two games – both losses – against two of the league’s top five teams. Before IU can turn its focus to the other road trips and all the matchups versus ranked foes, the Hoosiers have been dealt the typically difficult task of playing on Illinois’ home court.

1,500 fans await Posner debut
Mike Posner, 21, a December grad of Duke University performs at Jake’s Nightclub on Friday. His fans have eagerly anticipated the concert since early December when a Facebook group, entitled “Mike Posner @ Indiana University,” was created. It has more than 1,500 fans.

Chocolate becomes tasteful art
The sixth annual Art of Chocolate exhibit will feature live chocolate art from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the IU Art Museum. This year local Collaborative Artist Joe LaMantia will be creating a masterpiece by painting chocolate onto a canvas. Tickets are $45 and all proceeds benefit OPTIONS, a Bloomington non-profit that provides services to people with disabilities.

Woman accused of having frequent sex with teenage son
A 41-year-old woman is accused of having regular sex with her teenage son when he was in seventh and eighth grades, officials said.Omaha Police said the now 15-year-old boy reported the alleged abuse last week to a counselor, who notified authorities. The boy told police his mother was addicted to prescription drugs when the alleged abuse took place in 2008 and 2009 while he lived with her.
