This Saturday will be the Miss 'N Out event at Little 500 - the most unique event of the spring series. Here's a link to the men's and women's schedule.
Here are the men's and women's results from Wednesday's Individual Time Trials at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Here are some highlights:
Junior Teter rider Caitlin Van Kooten couldn’t wait to get her Individual Time Trial run started. But when the gun went off, she went nowhere. With a standing start to the four-lap event, the volunteer holding her bike didn’t hear the gun – holding on tight as Van Kooten tried in vain to pedal.
The individual time trials, the first of the three spring series events for the Little 500, will take place Wednesday. Here's a link to the schedule for Wednesday.
The Cutters had a far-from-perfect qualifying day Saturday. But far from perfect was more than enough for the team that has won the last three Little 500s.
After 8+ hours of qualifications, the men's and women's teams are set for the 2010 Little 500. For the second time in the history of the women's race, a team did not qualify. The unlucky 34th team was Sigma Delta Tau who was edged out when Delta Zeta, Last Chance (appropriate name) and Alpha Epsilon Phi completed successful runs on their third attempts.

I would just use the Little 500 feed if I had internet access from my phone. But I don't...and I can only update one twitter feed via texting and my phone's set up for my account.
With a glance at recent qualifications results, it might appear the Teter women’s team makes it a primary goal to take the pole position, which it has done the past three years.
Here's the schedule for this Saturday's qualification day at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Some highlights:
Before you watch the video, here's a short article about IU senior Ben Heisler participating in a national Dick Vitale impersonation contest.
An early spring break, a free trip to Los Angeles, halftime entertainment for the Pac-10 men’s basketball championship — now that’s super scintillating sensational, baby.
IU hired Myron "Mo" Moriarty as its new offensive line coach today. Moriarty replaces Bobby Johnson, who took an assistant offfensive line coaching position with the Buffalo Bills.
Scheduled to begin this past Monday, the on-track rookie week activities are postponed indefinitely. With snow showers in the forecast for the weekend, Little 500 race director Pam Loebig said the on-track activities could be limited next week as well. Rookie week gives new riders an opportunity to hone racing skills, including bike exchanges and pack riding, before the veteran riders begin practice.
According to a Bloomington Velo-News tweet, 34 women's teams have registered for the 2010 Little 500.
I mentioned in the story that ran in today's paper that IU football recruiting is taken in perspective by the coaching staff.
Recruiting is a matter of perspective for the IU coaching staff. While national scouting services rank IU’s 2010 signing class at the bottom of the Big Ten, Hoosier coach Bill Lynch welcomed the 25-member class on National Signing Day on Wednesday saying he felt very comfortable with his new recruits.
The IU football team signed 25 players today for its 2010 recruiting class.
From the Big Ten to the Big East and back again.
If there was one player Crean probably didn't mind his team shutting down, then it would be Big Ten leading scorer Manny Harris. And that's exactly what junior guard Jeremiah Rivers did.
