This Saturday will be the Miss 'N Out event at Little 500 - the most unique event of the spring series. Here's a link to the men's and women's schedule.

While it's the most unique of the spring series, it's also in a bracketed, tournament format if that's what's been desperately missing from your life since the NCAA tournament finished earlier this week.

Here's a quick breakdown of the event for those unfamiliar with it:

- Each first round heat involves 7-10 riders. Following a pace lap, the last place rider (based on rear tire position at start/finish line) is eliminated on each ensuing time around the track until the top 3 riders remain. Those three advance to the second round.

- In the second round, six riders compete for the top two spots. Last place riders are eliminated after each lap.

- The semifinal round consists of the eight riders competing for three spots in the finals (two semifinal heats yields six finalists).

- In the final round, once three riders remain, those riders race around the track and the first person to have his or her front tire cross the start/finish line wins the event.
