No student voice on search committee

There is no student on the search committee for a new men's basketball coach. There also was no IU-Bloomington undergrad on the search committee for a new University president. Should students have more say in these high-profile hires?

Bashore grounds Pilots, striking out 12

Hoosier fans, Sophomore Matt Bashore was absolutely dominant today agaisnt Portland, as the Hoosiers won 7-0. The lefty struckout a career high 12 batters (I did a double-take too) over 8.0 innings of shutout baseball, including striking out the first four Pilot hitters. With a 6-0 IU lead in the seventh, the Pilots loaded the bases and threatened to make a comeback.

Gophers, Spartans hanging on the edge

Hey folks, Charlie Creme's latest bracket, just released a few hours ago, has both Minnesota and Michigan State in the field - but barely. Both the Gophers and Spartans are among Creme's "last four in," meaning they likely sit right on the bubble heading into Selection Monday. What does this mean for Hoosier fans?
