Hey everyone! With the Austin Peay Invitational this weekend, DeAntae and I would like to pose a few questions for the devoted followers of the team (answer any or all you feel like): 1) What do you hope to see different in this weekend's games compared to the Big Ten/Big East Challenge? 2) What player(s) do you feel will have a breakout weekend in Tennessee? 3) What are your expectations for the team going into this weekend? Thanks and we look forward to hearing your answers.
All season long the "experts" have been talking about the great parity in the Big Ten. Generally I would agree, but I was also a bit disappointed by the scores on Thursday night.
For a guy who rarely had lots to say about his recruiting practices while he was at IU, Kelvin Sampson has been rather open in defending them since.

IU coach Tom Crean has cited the youth of the Hoosiers as reason for the unpredictability they show from game to game. But Wednesday night IU radically changed in the middle of the first half. Northwestern (15-11, 6-9) notched its first ever victory in Assembly Hall, dominating IU (6-21, 1-14) 75-53. While always fighting to prevent it, Crean said he has dreaded a performance like Wednesdays. "I'll never accept it and I never have," Crean said.

A digital poll question on idsnews.com caught my attention this afternoon. The question read, "Will IU win tonight?" As of about 3:35 p.m., only 40 people had responded to the question.
Tom Crean and his coaching staff did not make a single phone call to recruits for one week back in December.
There is one scenario where the Hoosiers could get the #5 seed and a first round bye in the Big Ten Tournament next week.
Hi all, Due to still melting snow and howling winds, the IPFW game has been canceled. Poor field conditions will not allow the Hoosiers to play in what was set to be their first home game of the season.
Believe it or not, it's been 24 years today since Bobby Knight chucked a chair across Branch McCracken Court during a game against Purdue. I attended the infamous Ted Valentine game as a kid, but have no recollection of the chair-throwing incident, as it took place two years before my birth. Do any of our (ahem) older readers recall this memorable date 24 years ago?
Hey folks, Good morning, and yes, that is correct, and our friend Chris Howell has the story and pictures at the Hoosier Scoop.
Action at the track continues this week as Rookie week concludes and veterans begin their first on-track practice Thursday. When the vets take to the track, there will be one notable rider missing.
