All season long the "experts" have been talking about the great parity in the Big Ten. Generally I would agree, but I was also a bit disappointed by the scores on Thursday night. Minnesota beat Michigan State by 15. Ohio State beat Wisconsin by 22. Penn State beat Northwestern by 15. Purdue beat Michigan by 17. Iowa beat Illinois by 13.
What does this mean for the Hoosiers?
IU has pretty much clinched the number six spot in the conference. They needed Minnesota or Iowa to loose and that didn't happen. The Hoosiers will play either Illinois, Michigan, or Northwestern in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament in the #6 vs. #11 matchup. The gametime will be approximately 2:30 p.m. next Thursday.
