The new Bloomington Restaurant Week will feature special discounted lunch, dinner and carryout menus from Bloomington restaurants from Oct. 19 to Nov. 1.

Discounts vary between restaurants and specific offers can be found on bloomingtonrestaurantweek.com. To participate, restaurant goers must ask for a Restaurant Week menu at a participating restaurant, which include Cafe Pizzaria, Social Cantina and Uptown Cafe. There are currently nearly 30 participating restaurants.

Erin White is the director of leisure marketing and media for Visit Bloomington, the organization coordinating Bloomington Restaurant Week.

“We wanted to be proactive in assisting the restaurant community throughout this difficult time that we've all been living in this year,” White said. “It was a great opportunity to take advantage of the last couple weeks of warm weather in the fall.”

No coupons are required for Bloomington Restaurant Week.

Diners can post photos of their food from Restaurant Week on social media using #BTownFoodie. Winners will be chosen from these pictures, and each winner will receive a gift card from one of the participating restaurants.

To find a list of participating restaurants, go to bloomingtonrestaurantweek.com.
