Snail Mail will be playing a show with Long Beard at 9:30 p.m. July 26 at The Bishop Bar.

At age 18, the Baltimore-based artist, real name Lindsey Jordan, is Matador’s newest and youngest signing, according to a press release from Matador Records.

Snail Mail’s debut album “Lush” came out June 8, earned an 8.7 rating on Pitchfork and led to her being named artist of the month on Consequence Sound.

Jordan released her first EP “Habit” in 2016 when she was only 15, just a year before signing with Matador. “Lush” was produced by Jake Aron, who has worked with musicians like Solange, Grizzly Bear and Chairlift, according to Spin.

Long Beard, the recording project and pseudonym of New Jersey musician Leslie Bear, will also be performing Thursday.

Her debut, full-length album "Sleepwalker" was released in 2015 with Team Love Records. Bear's debut was recorded in bedrooms and a small studio over several years, according to her Spotify page.

The show July 26 is 18+ and tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
