Vagina Monologues raises awareness for women's issues

Vagina Monologues

The Women’s Student Association at IU performed a benefit production of Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” on Friday and Saturday. The proceeds went to Middle Way House and the national V-Day Spotlight: Women of Haiti.

“The Vagina Monologues” is a play aimed at creating awareness of women’s issues and abuse. Ensler created V-Day, a nonprofit organization associated with the play, and it has raised more than $75 million for women’s anti-violence groups since 1998.

There are still more chances to catch a production of “The Vagina Monologues.”
