Broadway talent Bernadette Peters to perform at IU Auditorium

Fresh from Broadway, Bernadette Peters will be performing at 8 p.m. Saturday at the IU Auditorium. Since the 60s, Peters has been nominated for seven Tony Awards and she has won two -- one for her performance in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Song and Dance," and the other for her portrayal of Annie Oakley in "Annie Get Your Gun."

"Bernadette Peters has a voice of pure magic that has been immortalized through her unforgettable Broadway and major motion picture characters," IU Auditorium Director Doug Booher said in a press release.

Tickets are still available for the performance, and prices range between $20 and $51 for student tickets and $38 and $65 for the general public. Visit iuauditorium.com or stop by the IU Auditorium Box Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
