A french fry crawl hit Bloomington bars on Wednesday in search for the best fries in town. The event was organized by senior Mackenzie Shimokaji.



The Bloomington Faculty Council meets from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays of the month during the regular school year. Council meetings are open to non-members as provided in the policy.

Robin Menzyka, a volunteer at the 24th Annual Soup Bowl Benefit, serves soup for attendees Sunday, Feb. 18. The soup bowl is a fundraising opportunity for Hoosier Hills Food Bank that served soup from 42 local business this year.

The Beta Eta (Sigma Nu) house is located on North Jordan Avenue. Former Sigma Nu brother in the 1950s, Harold Leininger II, said being in the fraternity helped him build character. 


Dr. Leonidas Karakatsanis, assistant director at the British Institute at Ankara, explores the efforts of Turks and Greeks to overcome a symbolic wall of hatred. The talk was held in the Global and International Studies Building.
