The Jordan Hall Greenhouse, home to hundreds of plants from all over the world, has unique plant species. Visitors can tour the greenhouse for free during business hours, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

George Saunders' recently published novel "Lincoln in the Bardo" was sold by Boxcar Books during Tuesday's event. Saunders signed books after his talk at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.

The IU Film Experience will offer weekly screenings during the second half of the semester at the Indiana University Cinema. The course plans to discuss what it's like to go to the cinema in today's culture. 

Informatics

Junior Calyn Tinklenberg, a student in the Kelley School of Business, is currently taking an informatics class about HTML. She enjoys learning more about computers and technology, she said.

Five operas and one musical will be performed at the Musical Arts Center this year. The first opera, Don Giovanni, starts Sept. 15.
