Assistant dean brings focus to women’s issues

President Barack Obama announced in January that one in five women — 20 percent — are sexually assaulted during their time at college. Leslie Fasone, new assistant dean in the division of student affairs,  wants to lower that percentage at IU.

Pence declines to sign bill pausing Energizing Indiana

Gov. Mike Pence opted to withhold from signing a bill passed by the Indiana General Assembly to “pause” Energizing Indiana’s energy-efficiency program, but the legislation will still become law without the governor’s signature.

Monroe approves solar farm

Duke Energy is planning to build a new solar farm in Bloomington by the end of 2015. The plan was approved by Monroe County.
