IU men’s soccer’s hopes of defending their Big Ten championship took a sizable hit Dec. 29, 2010, when their leading scorer, junior Will Bruin, decided to forego his senior season and pursue a career in Major League Soccer.
The new varsity baseball and softball stadiums will take the place of the intramural fields on the north edge of campus near 45/46 and Fee Lane and will leave the nearly 10,000 participants of intramural sports without a home field.

The University of South Florida will host the IU women’s soccer team Friday in the opening match of its new soccer stadium.
