Hoosiers dominate Eagles in 18-3 win

Behind excellent pitching from junior Chris Squires and nine home runs, the Hoosiers did just that in a dominating 18-3 victory. Squires pitched six innings, giving up five hits and only three earned runs on Tuesday.

Former two-year Cutters rider McClurg switched to Alpha Tau Omega this year because of his desire to see what greek life was all about. He wanted to join ATO his first year at IU, but because of his desire to ride for a good bike team and his uncertainty as to whether greek life was right for him, he decided to ride for the Cutters

I’d imagine the fire marshal had to turn people away, because that night in March of 1998, the Anderson Wigwam was filled to the brim of its 8,996-seat capacity. The rich aroma of buttered popcorn filled the arena as scores of ardent fans clad in red and green – mostly there for their hometown Anderson Indians – packed the stadium.

IU coach Tracy Smith wasn’t happy with his team Sunday night, to say the least.After the Hoosiers’ last game at the Eagle Invitational, an 8-3 win against Le Moyne, Smith was brutally honest when discussing their performance.

The IU women’s basketball team was still filled with hurt and heartache 30 minutes after its Big Ten Tournament ended. The women sat lifelessly in the Conseco Fieldhouse locker room, trying to cope after they coughed up a 14-point first-half lead en route to a 64-68 loss to in-state rival Purdue.

Then freshman Lindsay Enterline hit a 3-pointer, which was followed by an increased effort by the Hoosiers (19-9).
