Students face travel dilemma

Seniors invited to send-off party

The Student Alumni Association is holding a senior send-off party for all graduating seniors from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday behind the DeVault Alumni Center. IUB Chancellor Sharon Brehm will begin the celebration with a tree dedication to the seniors at 4 p.m., followed by free food and music by Dave and Rae.

President pleads guilty to drug charges

2 to plead guilty in $3.5 million bingo scam

Pre-abortion law challenge begins

INDIANAPOLIS -- A judge on Tuesday began hearing arguments in the latest step of the legal fight over Indiana's law requiring women to receive pre-abortion counseling in person. Court challenges have kept the law from taking effect since it was passed in 1995.

Ever since IU servers were hacked last semester, IU students have received a barrage of spam e-mail messages advertising everything from low mortgage rates to techniques for increasing penis sizes. Spam has been a growing problem in today's Internet age, but until now, no one has done anything serious about it.

WHO lifts Toronto travel advisory
