Meet the Union Board candidates

Union Board, the student organization that has brought names like Lil Wayne and Madeleine Albright to campus, will have elections Monday and Tuesday. The board’s leadership consists of 13 committee directors and three executive officers, which are a president and two vice presidents.

Women dive into 20 Party on campus

Rush is the annual event when many women on campus attempt to find a sorority that’s right for them to join. During 20 Party on Saturday and Sunday, the prospective new members visited each sorority for 30 minutes.

Returning to Bloomington to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of IU’s fifth National Championship, the former players spoke with the current Hoosier squad prior to watching Indiana’s 84-50 victory against Stetson.

Daryl Thomas stood alongside his teammates during halftime of IU’s 84-50 victory against Stetson on Sunday in a line at half court without their curmudgeon of a head coach. The cheers during that 25th anniversary ceremony were the loudest of the game up to that point.

Monroe commissioners awarded energy grant

The Monroe County Commissioners were awarded almost $290,000 by the U.S. Department of Energy to promote community energy conservation education.

Symposium wraps up Themester

The College of Arts and Sciences completed its Themester with a symposium of individual presentations of selected topics of research on this semester's topic, "Making War, Making Peace".

Dead week: students gear up for finals

Dr. Diana Ebling, medical director of the IU Health Center, said health can be a problem during stressful times in the semester. Less focus on eating right can lower immune systems, and students don’t take time to rest.
