When IU students return to campus in the fall, they will no longer be able to purchase their beloved potato olés. Taco John’s is leaving Gresham Food Court at the end of this semester.

2nd Aging Festival to take place in May

The City of Bloomington Commission on Aging will sponsor the second annual Creative Aging Festival during May to celebrate Older Americans Month. The event begins May 1. The festival will include a series of different events aimed at highlighting artistic talents of older adults, said Julie Hill, chair of the creative aging festival committee.

Health screenings, advice offered for Latino community

The Latino Health Fair is sponsored by Bienestar Latino Outreach, a program within Positive Link that provides education about and services for HIV/AIDS for the Latino Community. The fair is also sponsored by El Centro Comunal Latino, a grassroots organization that provides information about various resources for Spanish-speaking people.

Students bring ballet to Buskirk

On Wednesday and Thursday nights, dancers from the Jacobs School of Music Ballet Department performed 22 short ballets at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre for their annual Choreography Project.

After the opening remarks of Interim Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel, we all stood, many bowed their heads, and an invocation that was very clearly Christian was delivered to students and our families.
