The winners of the spring Energy Challenge received their awards Thursday afternoon during a ceremony at the Sample Gates. The competition was divided into categories in which the challenge’s utilities team tracked the water and electricity consumption for residence halls, greek houses, on-campus apartments and academic buildings.
They competed to see which could attain the greatest improvement from baseline measurements of water and electricity consumption taken at the beginning of the challenge.
