Hoosiers finish 13th at NCAA Regional

After carding a four-man score of 318 Saturday at the NCAA Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., the IU men’s golf team saw its season come to an end, as it finished 13th out of 14 teams with a plus 67 for the 54 holes played Thursday through Saturday.

McRobbie departs on East Asia trip

IU President Michael A. McRobbie left IU May 18 for a 15-day trip to East Asia to strengthen IU’s ties to South Korea, China and Taiwan, according to a press release.


500 Princesses

Police responded to a call to check on the welfare of a resident late Friday night on the first floor of an apartment building on the 1800 Block of South Walnut Street, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Lucas Tate said.

Police have arrested two people in the case of a robbery and strangulation that occurred Wednesday afternoon at a Motel 6 on North Walnut Street, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.
