IU gets first 2014 football commit

Michael Barwick, a 6-foot-1-inch, 291-pound defensive tackle from Summit Country Day High School in Cincinnati, committed to IU Sunday afternoon.

IU wins regional championship 6-1

IU won its first baseball regional championship with a 6-1 win against Austin Peay Sunday night in Bloomington. The Hoosiers will advance to Tallahassee, Fla., to play Florida State in the Super Regionals.

No. 1 seed IU defeated No. 2 seed Austin Peay 15-6 to snap the Governor's 16-game winning streak and advance to the regional championship game Sunday as the only undefeated team left in the Bloomington Regional.

Walkoff home run give IU 5-4 win

Chad Clark ripped an 0-1 slider from Karch Kowalczyk into the left-field bullpen for a two-run, walk-off homer that propelled the Hoosiers to a 5-4 win against Valparaiso and completed a miraculous four-run ninth inning comeback Friday at Bart Kaufman Field.
