Mandela’s legacy honored after death

In honor of Nelson Mandela’s death Thursday, the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity paused its Crossover Step Show Thursday night to take a moment of silence. The former South African president, who spent 27 years in prison fighting for an end to apartheid, died Thursday at the age of 95, according to The Associated Press.

‘Cloud 9’ opens at IU Theatre tonight

Performances of the IU Theatre's "Cloud 9" will take place Friday, Saturday and Dec. 10-14 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional show at 2 p.m. Dec. 14. All performances are at the Wells-Metz Theatre.

IU to face Morehead State Sunday

The IU women’s basketball team looks to accomplish something it was unable to do last year when it faces Morehead State this Sunday: win more than two road games in a season.

Angi Fiege stands at the grave of her 19 year old daughter Rachael, who died Aug. 23, 2013 after falling down a set of stairs at her first party at IU. Winter storm warning issued for county

A winter storm warning for Monroe County will begin at 10 p.m. tonight and last until 12 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

Volleyball team reflects on season
