A winter storm warning for Monroe County will begin at 10 p.m. tonight and last until 12 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.
The surrounding Brown, Greene and Lawrence counties will also be affected.
About six to 10 inches of snow are possible Thursday evening.
The NWS advises that significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel “very hazardous or impossible.”
