IU faces rematch with Vanderbilt

The Hoosiers’ season, which IU Coach Lin Loring described as a “roller coaster,” culminates in a trip to Clemson, S.C. to face No. 19 Vanderbilt (15-11, 7-6) Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Indiana earned an at-large bid on April 30 when the NCAA Championship bracket was announced.

Track travels to Big Ten Championships

With all of the marks and times established during the regular season, the IU track and field teams head to Columbus, Ohio Friday for the three-day Big Ten Outdoor Championships.

Baseball heads home for final time

The IU baseball team (36-9, 13-5  in the Big Ten as of Wednesday afternoon) will play in front of a home crowd for the final time this season when it welcomes Northwestern to Bloomington for a three-game set starting at 6:05 p.m. Friday at Bart Kaufman Field.

Kinsey Reporter mobile app re-released on Wednesday

The Kinsey Institute and the School of Informatics and Computing have joined together to create a mobile app, now available for Apple and Android mobile platforms, for collecting and reporting anonymous data regarding sexual activity, public displays of affection, female hormonal birth control use and effects, sexual fetishes, flirting and other intimate behaviors.

Recently graduated IU students win $100,000 for future

The winners of the Building Entrepreneurs in Software and Technology competition this past February were awarded $250,000, the largest amount of prize money given by a university solely to its students in a business plan competition. The competition is organized through the School of Informatics and Computing and the Kelley School of Business.

2 Showalter fish damaged in theft attempts

Around 4 and 5 a.m. Sunday morning, two separate attempts were made to steal two fish from the IU Showalter Fountain. Alarms on the fish alerted the IU Police Department to the tampering, allowing them to make it to the fountain in time to stop the theft efforts.
