LETTER: In response to "Indiana abortion law harms education"

In an editorial article published in the June 6th Indiana Daily Student, entitled “Indiana abortion law harms education,” the student editors claim this law compromises and infringes upon “Education at a secular, government-funded university,” by “one particular religious ideology.” They imply that this “religious ideology” is Christianity, later stating “America is not a Christian nation.”  In a Gallup poll conducted in January of this year  (http://www.gallup.com/poll/1576/abortion.aspx), 46% of those polled consider themselves pro-life.









Antonio Allen became the hope of his district as the star of the Ben Davis High School football team and growing up in one of the most impoverished ares of Indianapolis, but has since been charged with possession of drugs.

Former IU football player Antonio Allen pleads guilty

Former IU safety Antonio Allen pleaded guilty Thursday morning in Monroe Circuit Court to two felony charges related to his arrest in June 2015. The former IU safety was sentenced to four years of home detention and 100 community service hours.






Jordan Spoor, a senior student who studies Elementary Education, helps a student parent to sign in on Monday afternoon at the Indiana University Auditorium. She was one of the program leaders on new student orientation team.

Orientation kicks off with initial meeting

On Monday, June 6 at 3:30 pm in The IU Auditorium a program called Orientation to Orientation was provided to participants with information about Orientation. Orientation to Orientation is an event which gives updated information on the orientation program at IU. The 2016 summer freshman orientation runs June 8-July-19.
