IU sustains against Akron, scores its first third-quarter touchdown since last November

Battling back from an ACL injury, IU senior safety Austin Thomas worked each day this off-season to return to peak condition. It showed Saturday when Thomas intercepted Akron quarterback Matt Rodgers twice en route to a 38-21 win against the Zips.Thomas was not the only defensive player who made a significant impact for the IU defense.

The House of Representatives passed legislation last Thursday that would take private lenders out of the student loan industry altogether and save U.S. taxpayers close to $90 billion during 10 years, money which would then be used to increase Pell grant allocations and pay for community college reforms.

So I’m in a class about ethics, and I’m not really buying it. Sure, I love the hypothetical discussions of what’s good to do when, but I get so bothered when it all boils down to being relative, when the goodness or badness of something is decided by the context of the culture.
