No need to Phish for fans

he last thing someone would think when hearing Phish’s newest album is that the jam band has been inactive for five years. The 2004 breakup was hard on fans, but diehard Phishheads will be consoled with the brilliant display of lyricism and feel-good beats on their new album, “Joy.”

Soft ballads herald new image for Day

Sitting through “Whiteout” is like watching a young child put together a small puzzle while giving a play-by-play. You don’t really know what is driving the action or why it is even happening, but at least things seem to make sense to the child even if the final product doesn’t look the same as the box cover.

How I learned to stop worrying and love the movies

In terms of being a real professional, I am by no means a “film buff” yet. I am well informed, but what I have accomplished is not far from anyone’s reach.Aside from just being more intelligent, aware and knowledgeable about life and the popular culture that surrounds it, truly intelligent film conversations are things I don’t usually have, and they would be nice.  It gets lonely here at the top.
