More than 1,500 women participate in this year’s 19 party

This weekend the 19 Panhellenic sorority houses on campus opened their doors to more than 1,500 IU women to recruit new members for the upcoming year at 19 Party, the first of four recruitment rounds occurring over the next month. Nuns offer 128M euros to compensate for abuse

A major Irish order of Roman Catholic nuns, the Sisters of Mercy, offered Thursday to pay child abuse victims, the government and charities a further 128 million euros, which is $193.5 million, to compensate for decades of abuse in its schools and orphanages.
