Frontier Ruckus plays at the Bishop Bar

Matthew Milia said this is what inspires him to create the folky sound of Frontier Ruckus, as the frontman, lyricist and vocalist. The band is scheduled to play the Bishop Bar tonight at 9:30 p.m., a minor stop on tour for their new album, “Eternity of Dimming.”

IU allows first point of season against Marshall

On Sunday, the Hoosiers faced Marshall at the Huntington Tennis Club in Barboursville, W.Va. Despite losing one match in both singles and doubles play, the Hoosiers still cruised to their sixth win of the season against the Thundering Herd with a 6-1 score.

Women’s golf prepares for spring season

In Bloomington during the winter, golf practice is not an option. This could present a problem, but no one understands trying to balance practicing during a long break better than IU women’s golf Coach Clint Wallman.

Newbauer out indefinitely with wrist injury

IU women’s basketball starting point guard Andrea Newbauer is out indefinitely with a left wrist injury she suffered prior to the team’s loss at Purdue on Wednesday.

Hoosiers 7th at Stanford Invitational

The No. 14 IU water polo team was able to bookend the weekend with wins, but was unable to pick up any victories in between. The team went 2-3 and finished seventh overall in the Stanford Invitational. The Hoosiers’ overall record now stands at 3-6.
