Food bank to collect cans at annual Hoosier Hysteria

While Hoosier Hysteria is a celebration of IU sports and a kickoff to IU’s basketball season, it’s also one of the Hoosier Hills Food Bank’s three largest food drives of the year, HHFB Director of Development Jake Bruner said.

The portrait, which was revealed by first lady Cheri Daniels and Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman, will become part of the governor’s portrait collection maintained by the Indiana State Museum, also in Indianapolis, according to a press release.

Bloomington police pursuing check fraud suspect

The suspect is described as a black male with tattoos along his neck and hands. The man walked into German American Bank, 504 N. College Ave., and cashed two checks, one valued at $1,900 and the other at $1,700, BPD Detective Sgt. John Kovach said.
