The IU field hockey team plays a rematch with Iowa in the opening round of the seven-team Big Ten Tournament today.

Senior named to All-Star team

Senior Brenna Moeljadi of the IU field hockey team was chosen to play in the 2011 National Field Hockey Coaches Association’s Senior All-Star game. The forward will suit up at 3 p.m. Nov. 19 in Louisville, Ky.

The No. 22 IU field hockey team (9-6, 2-3) has its eyes on a fifth 10-win season in the past seven years when it travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., this Friday.

Hoosiers fall on road against Iowa

The IU field hockey team fell to No. 13 Iowa 4-2 to drop them to 1-4 in road matches. Senior forward Brenna Moeljadi scored both of the team’s goals.

After splitting its final two home matches last week, the IU field hockey team will play its first of four road games to end the regular season Saturday versus Iowa.

In it's final weekend at home in the 2011 regular season, IU topped Michigan State, 4-2, in its final home game of the season, just two days after falling to Penn State, 6-2.

Field hockey players continue to build team culture

Having just been knocked out of a top 20 ranking, the Hoosier field hockey team is fighting back, determined to make the NCAA tournament. Now with a developed team culture the team continues to climb back up the latter.

IU’s success lies in Coach Robertson

IU Coach Amy Robertson helped create the field hockey varsity program at IU. Since then, the recruiting has been solely out of state. With no major field hockey programs in the state of Indiana, the players come from all parts of America, including California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Hoosiers fend off No. 15 Ohio University, win 3-2

The Hoosiers went into Athens, Ohio and came out victorious. After keeping a 3-0 lead, IU allowed two goals during the second half, but still managed to top No. 15 Ohio University, 3-2. Senior back Brenna Moeljadi scored twice with senior Jaclyn Zamudio netting her third goal of the season.
