Bloomington man arrested in California charged with arson, murder

The man gave police a false name and claimed a woman was his mother who was not.

The Bloomington Fire Department is located at 300 E. Fourth St. BFD Capt. Robert Sears, who was accused of child solicitation and sexual misconduct, has not returned to the station since he was arrested Friday. He is no longer in jail.
