I'm not one for boasting, but I cannot hold it back any longer. I must say it: I am going to dominate this year’s Little 500.
Last week, a group of more than 100 university presidents signed a letter to NCAA President Myles Brand – a former IU president – accusing the NCAA of violating its own rules concerning alcohol advertising during broadcasts of games. The letter called the ads “embarrassingly prominent” and counted 200 and 240 seconds of beer advertising in the two national semifinal games, with 270 seconds in the national championship game.
