Korean Night hopes to draw all cultures

There will be dancing, music, games and displays at this year’s Korean Night. And afterward, there will be a quiz. The fifth annual Korean Night will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Willkie Auditorium. The interactive culture night is sponsored by the Korean Student Association and has a “time machine” theme.

For those who want to relive their fall tailgating memories, the third annual Campus Cornhole Championships might be just the ticket. The event is being held at 8 p.m. Saturday at Templeton Elementary at 1400 S. Brenda Lane.

Ballet classic, original work to play at MAC this weekend

The IU Ballet Theater will present “Variations on a Russian Theme,” which combines a shortened version of Tchaikovsky’s 19th-century classical ballet “Swan Lake” and the world premiere performance of “My Eyes Opened” by Pennsylvania Ballet choreographer-in-residence Matthew Neenan.

Local dance company to interpret ‘7 deadly sins’

The Windfall Dancers, an 11-member company, will perform their concept of them – envy, sloth, gluttony, greed, lust, pride and wrath – this weekend and next weekend at the troupe’s annual show. The content is not suitable for young children because of rough language, according to Tom Slater, the director and a choreographer for the show.
