Fort Wayne police say two men found shot to death in a car both had criminal records.
Police were responding to a report of gunshots early Wednesday when they found the bodies of 20-year-old De'Anthony J. Lewis and 25-year-old Adam Nicholas Tadeo in a green Chevrolet Impala.
Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene and Tadeo died shortly after being taken to a hospital.
Police spokesman Michael Joyner said a police dog was used to track the gunman, but no arrests have been made. He said detectives have not determined a motive for the shootings.
Tadeo was released from prison in July after serving time on a drug charge. Lewis was sentenced to six years' probation in January after pleading guilty to aiding burglary.
