Kinsey researcher receives grant to study causes of PPD

Last month, assistant research scientist Heather Rupp of the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction received a $423,500 grant to study the poorly understood biological mechanisms behind postpartum depression.

CHICAGO - A goal in the first five minutes was a dagger in the United States Men's National Team's last contest. This time around, however, it turned into a spark.

IU student 1 of 3 found dead in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – Police say two men and an IU student have been found “brutally murdered” in an apartment on the far east side of Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS – House Democrats walked out of a state budget hearing Thursday after complaining that the Republican governor injected politics into the process — and said they don’t plan to attend other hearings scheduled before a special legislative session starts next week.

Actor David Carradine found dead in Bangkok

BANGKOK – David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series “Kung Fu” whose career roared back to life when he played the assassin-turned-victim in Quentin Tarentino’s “Kill Bill,” was found dead Thursday in Thailand. A published report said he committed suicide.
