The online search tool, IPRC Veterans Resources Searchable Database, provides access to a wide variety of resources for returning veterans, their families and their communities, said Barbara Seitz de Martinez, deputy director for the IPRC, in an IU press release.

Zimride shares rides to cut emissions, costs

Zimride is an online ride-sharing program created by an outside company that combines Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter and customer reviews to link drivers with potential riders. Zimride’s IU partnership is funded by the IU Student Association.

Music Professor Jaime Laredo and Professor Emeritus of informatics J. Michael Dunn were two of the 229 leaders in science, social science, humanities, arts, business and public affairs to be elected members of the 2010 Class of Fellows and Foreign Honorary Members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
