The student group Indiana Public Interest Research Group — or INPIRG — along with Coal Free IU are protesting today to dissuade Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh’s legislation against the Clean Air Act.

Science, cocktails come together for WonderLab

Science, cocktails and charity will come together to benefit Bloomington's WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology with the Science Night Out: Sail the High Seas. Hosted by IU Women's Bsketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack and her husband, David Jack the gala begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Bloomington Monroe County Convention Center.

One year ago today, one of my closest friends, Peter Duong, stepped in front of a car, was struck and died. Since that day one year ago, the University has worked to create a safer environment.

Sophomore Peter Duong died exactly one year ago on Fee Lane while crossing the street. His death was a wake-up call for IU and its street safety issues, and while improvements have been made, the University still has a long way to go.

Kinsey institute to open new exhibit

Although reproduction and gender roles are often seen as controversial topics, a new Kinsey exhibit will bring these parts of life to the surface. The exhibit, titled “Nature & Nurture; Exploring Human Reproduction from Pregnancy through Early Childhood,” will run through Dec. 22.
