Creek propels men's basketball team past Evansville

With his team trailing by six after one half, the sophomore guard knocked down three consecutive 3-pointers to jump-start a 22-0 run and lead the Hoosiers to a 67-54 victory against the Purple Aces in Assembly Hall.

After the 44-0 downing of Wabash to start the dual season, the IU wrestling team faced more challenging competition on Saturday but still emerged victorious against The Citadel and Columbia at the Disney Duals in Orlando, Fla.

Women's basketball falls to Georgia

The Bulldogs (3-0) defeated the Hoosiers (2-2) in Athens, Ga. by a score of 84-51. IU was down early and could not seem to stop the Bulldogs’ runs throughout the rest of the game.

Ostrom receives grant for health care research

Elinor Ostrom, distinguished professor of political science and co-director of the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis was recently awarded a $295,000 grant from the Fannie E. Rippel Foundation.

Young, outgoing, smart, boy or girl — homelessness can affect everyone, including youth.

General Assembly faces partisan issues

The Indiana General Assembly, Indiana’s legislative branch, will address several highly partisan issues this year. The first thing will be to pass a balanced budget, which is required by the state constitution every two years.
