Bloomington police investigate possible connection to Spierer case

The Bloomington Police Department is investigating a possible connection between the June 3, 2011, disappearance of Lauren Spierer and Clyde Gibson of New Albany, Ind., who is accused of killing three women, BPD Cpt. Joe Qualters said in a press release.

Three Indianapolis residents were arrested Wednesday after an Indiana University Police Department officer conducting a routine traffic stop found more than two pounds of marijuana, Xanax pills, Spice, cash and guns in the vehicle.
