Strat plan addresses national STIM crisis

Across the country, about 40 percent of students planning to major in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines change their major before graduating. That’s according to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, and IU is not far off the trend.

Reward posted for info on arson suspect

The International Association of Arson Investigators is offering reward money of up to $5,000 to anyone who can provide information to help investigators identify a suspect in the recent arson investigation.

Western upsets Mater Dei in IHSAA finals

Hoosiers lose, look toward next season

IU traded scoring runs throughout Thursday’s 64-54 loss to Illinois, but the Illini had the final say when they closed the game on an 11-2 run. Despite the loss, IU players are already looking forward to the possibilities of next season.

Sophomore Jordan Gornall, senior Derrick Morgan, freshman Tre’tez Kinnaird and junior Rorey Hunter make up the distance medley team that will join senior shot-putter Kyla Buckley at the NCAA Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.

Schmidt wins 3-meter springboard competition

Senior diver Darian Schmidt won the 3-meter springboard competition at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships to earn a spot at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
