Bone Thugs N’ Harmony to perform at Bluebird Nightclub

“Uni-5: The World’s Enemy,” is hip-hop group Bone Thugs N’ Harmony’s first release in more than a decade with all five members on the record. However, not all five members will be in attendance when the group performs in Bloomington Monday.

Jazz professor to perform at Bear’s

This week, world-famous musician and IU jazz guitar teacher Corey Christiansen and his quintet will perform at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Bear’s Place. Attendants must be 21 and older, and tickets are $7 at the door.

Singing Hoosiers to honor Carmichael’s musical legacy

The Singing Hoosiers will perform “Hoagy Carmichael and Friends,” a tribute to the late composer and musician Hoagy Carmichael, Friday at Auer Hall in the Jacobs School of Music. The concerts, at 7  and 8:30 p.m., are free to the public.

A long distance relationship

Guitarist and senior psychology student Kevin Pariso had such an experience and now maintains a long-distance relationship with fellow Kid Savant band members between the cities of Bloomington, Indianapolis and Brooklyn.
