Indiana professor to take job at Federal Trade Commission as Bureau of Economics director

IU professor Michael R. Baye has been named director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Economics. Baye has served as an IU professor of business economics in the Kelley School of Business since 1997. In his new position, he will supervise economic analysis at the FTC and advise on economic policy matters.
