I’m supposed to share the things I’ve learned in college with the incoming freshman class in this column. I’m not going to tell you college is going to be the best four years of your life because I don’t believe that. If that was true what would be the point in living after college?

Brandon McGee dismissed from team

IU coach Tom Crean has dismissed Brandon McGee from the men's basketball team. The sophomore guard averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in 17 games as freshman last season.  BLOG:  Basketblog

C-SPAN bus visits campus

C-SPAN’s Campaign 2008 Bus stopped by campus May 22 after congratulating winners in its nationwide StudentCam contest at Lora L. Batchelor Middle School.

When it comes to coffee, students could definitely settle with one of Bloomington’s many Starbucks coffee shops, but why? Bloomington plays host to a variety of local coffee shops.

IT celebrates 10 years of increasing technology

At a celebration for the 10-year anniversary of IU’s 1998 Information Technology Strategic Plan, IU President Michael McRobbie attributed the success of the University’s Information Technology services in the last decade to the University staff and faculty.

B-Line Trail set to undergo construction

The ground breaking ceremony for the B-Line Trail, a new economic and tourism development, was held May 20. The trail was purchased by Bloomington officials in 2005 in hopes of utilizing the area the CSX train company left behind when it removed the old railroad track.
