Clayton Anderson Band to play 9/11 tribute at Bluebird

In an effort to bring the Bloomington community and IU students together in commemoration of the tragic events of 9/11, the Clayton Anderson Band will play a tribute concert at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Bluebird nightclub.

When walking by the Bryan Park Pool on Thursday night, lots of splashing could be heard. When taking a closer look, though, the splashing was not from the usual children and families, but from their dogs. Bryan Park’s fifth annual Drool in the Pool kicked off Thursday with sights and sounds of playful dogs.

Scientists receive grant to work on cognitive research

The National Science Foundation gave IU cognitive scientists a five-year $3.1 million grant to create the Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship program. The program will focus on approaches to studying cognition, which is the process by which people know and learn.

Student veterans’ benefits has delays

Complications with the GI Bill are causing delays in funding for student veterans on campus. The Post 9/11 GI Bill can cover tuition, housing and additional fees for veterans and children of veterans. However, this GI Bill is far more complicated than previous military benefit programs.
