Last Sunday night, America wasn’t participating in a war or contributing to a debate on gay marriage. America wasn’t feeling the effects of global warming or developing new immigration laws. America wasn’t rallying against abortion or campaigning for its first black president. For one night, America stood united.

Slain IU grad remembered at memorial

Nearly 100 people, all dressed in black, could not hold back tears when a memorial video of Yoon Jang-ho, a 2004 Kelley School graduate who was killed last week in Afghanistan, was shown on a projection screen Friday at a memorial service at the Korean United Methodist Church, 1920 E. Third St.

BUENA PARK, Calif. – The white supremacist gang Public Enemy No. 1 began two decades ago as a group of teenage punk-rock fans from upper-middle class bedroom communities in Southern California. Now, the violent gang that deals in drugs, guns and identity theft is gaining clout across the West after forging an alliance with the notorious Aryan Brotherhood, authorities say.

With a big smile and a charismatic personality, Robyn Ochs jumped head-first into her lecture on bisexuality. “What are some stereotypes that you have heard about bisexuals?” she asked the crowd of more than 50 students, teachers and Bloomington residents.
